Crowley's Contract
Site Rules
I. Do NOT edit your mini-profile at all until after your audition has been accepted. (Name, Pics etc.)
II. Please make sure to read the Plot and our Character Lists before you audition for a character. I would also suggest checking out our Wanted Ads.
III. You must role play in third person in para and/or multipara, in past tense using quotes whenever speaking.
IV. No one-liners. We are an intermediate / advanced forum. We expect posts to be at least 300 words for Canons and Special Roles. For Original Characters we expect at least 250 words per post. Go into detail, make it seem realistic.
V. If you're interested in auditioning for an original character, make sure you read our list of Face-Claims. When making an original character, please keep in mind that you need to be rational and realistic with these characters - we don't want to see anyone auditioning for a long lost Winchester sibling or a child of one of the Salvatores.
VI. This forum is NOT a Percy Jackson crossover. It's an AU Supernatural Season 11 / The Vampire Diaries Season 4 (Beginning) crossover.
VII. If you're interested in auditioning for a Greek role or demigod you need to read through the following threads: Mythologies Thread and our Species List where the abilities of the gods and demigods are explained. And of course you must first read through the Special Roles list to make sure the god is available if that's what you wish to audition for.
VIII. Before you audition for a god, please note that as they are very important roles, we ask that only advanced role players capable of multi-para threads audition. If you feel you meet this requirement, send a PM to Dean Winchester , Caroline Forbes and Rebekah Mikaelson with a role play sample that gives us an idea on how you will portray the god, try to include a bit of how you will integrate them into the plot if you can.
IX. Just to avoid confusion, I would recommend that EVERYONE read through our Mythology Explanation Thread so that you may understand how we've merged the Myths. This should answer most questions that you have, but if not, as always you can contact the staff. Please also glance over the Changes from the TVD & SPN Shows that we've made to fit our plot.
I. You must be active. New members will be given a 2 week trial to make sure they're active. Additionally, you have three days to reserve a character or send in an audition before being deleted.
II. Members who have been accepted are given a warning if inactive for more than a week, then deleted if inactive after 14 days total. Active means actually posting. Not just logging on.
III. We understand that things happen OOC that sometimes prevent you from being online. However if this happens, make sure you post a thread in the 'Away' board letting us know how long you will be away from the forum so that we know that you intend to come back..
I. You may play a total of SEVEN characters on this forum if you're a member. Staff may play TEN.
II. Members may only play a total of two canons and this includes special roles. Depending on who they are, in some cases you may only play one deity if the other one you would like needs to interact. For example, someone could not play both Zeus and Hera. Or Zeus and Poseidon/Hades. For each new character you must add 50 posts (whether it be combined or on one account). So 50 posts for your second character, 100 for your third, 150 for your fourth, 200 for your fifth, 250 for your sixth and 300 for your seventh (final).
III. If you are inactive on an account, without posting an Away, then you will be warned to be more active, and after that if it continues you will be politely asked to choose which character you wish to keep, and the other will be deleted.
IV. We are currently accepting both canon and original characters. For OC vampires, they may not be over the age of 600.
V. If you're interested in auditioning for an original character, then please take a look at our species list and see if the species is on the regular list, or on the admin list. If it is on the admin list, then you must contact a staff member about creating an original character in this species before sending in an audition for them. Also, make sure the FC is available by reading our List of Face-Claims.
VI. Members who have Canon characters should only place an absence up for up to one month. If you're going to be gone for much longer than that you will be asked to consider dropping the canon(s) as it's unfair for people to have to wait a long time to move forward with vital storylines that said canons may be involved in.
It's Supernatural and the Vampire Diaries, we get it - characters die. But, that doesn't mean we want characters to be killed off left and right. Characters can only be killed (and brought back) if they already have a mapped out way to come back to life. If you're killing off your OC, you don't need staff permission unless they're from a Wanted Ad. Ways of coming back to life include:
I. Reapers. This is the simplest way for your character to return from the dead. If your character dies, then a reaper will come to take them away. You can make a deal with a reaper, and the reaper can bring you back to life, but for a price - they must kill someone else, and your character would have to live with that guilt (assuming your character has a heart and would care).
II. Angels. This is only in the scenario in which that your character has a close relationship with an angel. For example, if Dean or Sam were to die - Castiel would bring them back. This can only be done if your character is close with an angel.
III. Crossroads demons. If your character has a close friend/family member, then this person can go to a crossroads demon to strike a deal to bring your character back to life. This, as it usually does with a crossroads demon, comes with a consequence.
IV. Death. On our forum he is still around. In a worst case scenario where your character has no where to go to be revived, he/she will have to strike a deal with Death himself. Death will be played by the admins as a last option for characters who need to be brought back from the dead.
V. Deities. Obviously deities are capable of bringing the dead back to life. That being said, in their weakened state and because they're arrogant (for the most part) and things rarely come without a price - they don't generally just do it out of the goodness of their hearts. Keep this in mind if this is an option you're considering.
If you do plan on killing off your character permanently, then you must speak with a staff member first.
